Every fictional story needs a character for comical relief. In Spacecracks, Junker is the entire circus! Junker is among one of the many small maintenance droids, that look just like him, that help the Messiah ship's crewmen maintain their ship. Like his fellow droids, Junker is a hardworking, but clumsy, ship laborer who acts like a curious yet unaware child. Unlike many of these maintenance droids, Junker's malfunctioning intelligence makes him the odd one out, making him not only the only idiot out of all the droids, but also out of everyone else in the ship. He technically isn't an official team member of the Expeditioners, but he usually comes with them on their missions with a revolver just for the thrill of it. However, his idiocy is the usual cause of missions going wrong or many game overs for the team. He doesn't usually have any spare time with himself because of how he is supposed to be helping with maintaining the ship around the clock for most of his days. If he were to get a break, he would just go around the ship offering his shipmates help even if they don't want it. It would be partly because him helping usually ends with disaster before he's booted out of the room.
