"It is said that a feather from the extinct Sobrian phoenix brings good fortune upon those who find it. So it was that when her Highness Medaia Ateer-Areion discovered the fuschia and gold feather on her balcony one morning, she blessed it and hoped it would guide her knight home safely to her. She waited quietly for a day, a week, months. When autumn came, her father could stand his daughter's pining no longer. Another prince had asked for her hand, and the king accepted the agreement on her behalf. They found her standing at the balcony still, her eyes turned forever in the direction that her knight had ridden so long ago, her knight that led the war for her father's honor. The king demanded his daughter to rise, but she did not budge. She would not accept her father's betrayal to his warrior, she told him. Furious, the king gave her one night to take the prince's hand in marriage. When they came back to her chamber at dawn, she was nowhere to be found. Only the feather remained, placed exactly where the princess had first seen it."

You know, I think I give her thicker and thicker lashes each time I draw her. O__o Anyway, here's Medaia again, the supposedly most beautiful woman in her world's history. The fable is from the world of TGS [link] and.....well, made up on the spot, so it's probably not as artistically written as I'd like. @__o But you get the idea. Girl meets boy, girl loves boy, dad screws things up, and girl jumps. Or something along those lines. Anyway, I haven't done a CG in the longest time........I think I'm starting to get a little rusty.
