I know this may be REAAAAAAALLY late but I agree wholeheartedly this franchise was, is, and will forever be my go to fave no matter where they take it now with Jurassic world (but to be honest I'm rather glad they reanimated the franchise plus with the hybrids they may actually bring the Chaos Effect toy line back as well if not the line but some of the dinos)

Preach. Even though my first experience seeing this as a kid was in a less-than-stellar setting (on the floor in our family room in front of a tiny little television set), my expression was exactly like what you drew there in the second panel, and to this day it's still jaw-dropping to think that what Spielberg and his team created were only puppets and computer images and not the real thing.
Great panels here, particularly that last one! You captured the composition of the scene awesomely.
