Description Anyone know about the Mothman legends? Well, there is pretty strong evidence that its just a very large specie of barn owl... but nevertheless the idea of the Mothman is still cool. I saw the film 'Mothman Prophecies' ages ago... and I like the sketches of him in that... so I tried to emulate it from memory... not sure if it worked.

The real story, Says that The mothman was created during the Civil War. Near West Virgina, which I used to live like 15 miles from the place it was "created". They said it has to deal with something dealing with a soldger getting exposed to toxins that turn him into a moth. My West Virgina History teacher told me this lol. He said it was antedum battle feild. Not really sure but he said it had to deal with something about that war. Btw, Great picture

Besides of the eyes, the glowing mouth is the most unsettling. Nice work.

Thanks man, and thanks for faving it.

I'd love to go to that festival, only problem is... I'm all the way in Scotland with no money! I will go eventually, just another thing to add to my list of things to do.

It did? I think its an interesting concept... very creepy too. You do any drawings of it?

That was supposed to say 'one of my favorites'
But yeah it is pretty interesting, I think I may have done some doodles of it before but no drawings that I recall.

I read it as 'one of' don't worry. It would be cool to see a drawing from you of the mothman.

Okay. You think? Maybe I'll work on something of the sort, I've finally got my drawing table moved in so I should be getting some actual drawings done now.

Nope, I've never heard of the mothman. What is it?

Looks great by the way. It looks ready swoop in on its prey or something.

It's a creature that is said to have been spotted loads of times in the Charleston and Point Pleasant areas of West Virginia. In the film its come to humans to warn them of an impending disaster - a bridge was going to collapse - in the end the disatser happens. Thats an interpretation of the events. The whole bridge actually did collapse. It'd be easier to read for yourself. If youc an be assed.

Ah. Creeepy. *shivers* Although my curiousity says I'd probably stare for a couple minutes before running.
