Description Hey everyone! So I guess for those of you who tune into every post of mine you may remember I was trying to do this daily Pokemon drawing challenge, and for the most part I was off to a pretty good start, but then things came up and I fell behind with my plans, however despite the brief hiatus in Pokemon drawings I'm finally back up to speed!

Anyways I know this is a SUPER ambitious project of mine, but I'm determined to at least finish what I started, in case anyone was wondering however I've decided that once I reach the end of the generation 2 Pokemon I'll officially give this project a break, I've got SO many ideas for future projects and I didn't want to give up on this one, hopefully you all continue to be supportive and let's hope my efforts won't go in vain.

Hope you all enjoy and stay awesome!

I just noticed that some of these Pokemon only have 2 parts of their evolution line.

They must either go through puberty or never get out of it.

Yeah the thing with most Pokemon is that their evolutions go something like this:

or        and actually in quite a few cases some Pokemon just don't evolve at all, and usually if they're not legendary or already really powerful then that can be pretty boring, which is the case for some forgotten Pokemon like   for example.

And for a while now some old Pokemon would get evolutions that didn't exist in games that came before which is the case with

There has never been a Pokemon that evolves more than twice (excluding mega evolutions since those are more like sudden form changes, they're not completely separate species)

But in the case of Eevee    this guy has a branching evolution path so it can evolve (currently at least, until Gamefreak adds more evolutions in a few more years) into one of eight different Pokemon.

Those being

there are other Pokemon as well in different generations that have had branching evolution paths, usually one species having the option to evolve into one of 2 or 3 different species.

So yeah over the years evolutions have constantly been well evolving!

The methods of how evolution is obtained and how it works is constantly being expanded upon with every new game.

(seriously man Pokemon needs to be a subject taught at school, that is probably the only class I would pass with flying colors. XD)

Pokemon science goes deep, man o3o

And yeah about the branching evolutions, isn't there one where (I think it's with Snorunt, I'm not sure) it has a normal evolution, but if it actually dies then it evolves into a different thing?
I remember my brother telling me that

It really does. XD

You're thinking of Nincada!    He's a cicada Pokemon, basically what happens is that if you level up your Nincada to level 20 with an open slot in your party (fyi you can only carry up to 6 Pokemon at a time) as well as at least one Pokeball, then your Nincada will evolve like normal into Ninjask    but now that you had an open slot, all of a sudden you'll notice another Pokemon mysteriously took the final slot in the form of "Shedinja"

Basically the science there is that in real life when cicada's through metamorphosis they leave behind an empty shell which at first glance looks like a living cicada. So that's why Shedinja is a ghost type because he's quite literally a zombie bug.

Also on a side note you mentioned Snorunt which actually looks like this:     this little critter is an ice type that can evolve into either Glalie:    or Froslass:   Only female Snorunt however can evolve into Froslass, which also I should mention she is based on a character depicted in Japanese folklore. But thinking about it since Froslass is also a ghost type it is implied that your Snorunt kind of "dies" when it evolves.
