There is a park near my home where I can hand-feed the squirrels. They're so used to people feeding them they don't hesitate to run up to you.Related content

Dude at Palo Alto, California; there are these large black squirrel that will acctually attack you i you're eating anything. Ironically the squirrels live outside a hosptal.

While I was goofing around near some trees at the park one day in elementary school, a crazy old squirrel lady stormed up to me suddenly.
She waved an enormous bag of hamster food at me as she screamed "YOU LITTLE @$#& YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TORMENT MY BABIES THEY'RE TAKING THEIR BREAKFAST!" Then she threw a scoopful at my feet.
That said, maybe the squirrels turned on her. Gorged on hamster food and power, they probably found that they could spare a good many "acorns" to bury. Nice and deep.

I've never hand fed a squirrel.....how can you do it?

well instead of tossing food out to it, you make squirrelly sounds and call it over to you. Oh yeah, when you make the sounds they pop up like prairie dogs and hold their hands funny. Then they come up to your hand and hold on as they eat.
