Many people mistakenly believe that the mask allows its wearer to change into a cartoon character. Which is not true. It allows you to become the person you most want to be (Stanley Ipkiss became a cartoon character because he was precisely a fan of cartoons and dreamed of being as free and unconstrained as a toon from Tex Avery).In my case, being a comic book fan, I think that's what I would look like if I ever put on the mask.
