Description K'Raggen is a cosmic god of knowledge. He is a protector of all things both knon and unknown. In his hands is the sword known as Sabre: Destroyer of Ignorance.

(inspired by Cthulhu and Lovecraftian lore)

Very much a fan of the style, I fawn over clean lines personally, and you've made great use of a sharp comic-book style. The choice of colors is consistent and pleasing, and the silhouette is clear and unique.

My only criticisms are that the brightness of the sword pulled my attention away from the main subject of the crazy octopus man- unless this was your intention, in which case well done, but I still think it might benefit from some more striking highlights in some places both to make his features pop a bit more, and perhaps make the creature look a bit shinier or wet.

Secondly, a minor critique also of the lighting: the shadows in places- especially on the tentacles- seem to slightly flatten the picture.

Overall however, excellent work and I look forward to more from you.

yeah I wrestled with the sword and it pulling away attention and went back and forth on what to do with it.

Really like the lines, cleanliness, colours, composition and the contrast. My only nit is that it doesn't hit me over the head. I'm not sure of its intentionality, that is, in terms of the hilt possibly being a handheld device which this particularly connected G*D might wink at us that he's using. The angle on it is what made me look twice, and I felt my suspicions confirmed by the name of the piece, detail on the subject matter, and perhaps the coy indifference of the character itself. So, I wonder if, in the absence of the explanatory collateral, this image would attract and telegraph the tongue-in-cheek reference as effectively as it seemed to when I encountered it and felt the pull of needing a second look. Not to belabour, but I was looking over the tremendous irregularity of my own immature lines, so subtlety and how to achieve it was in the back of my mind, but then so was the question of perspective. If the perspective of the rest of this work weren't so sure as it seems to be, the squiggle might be taken for a mistake. Thanks for letting me look. I'm going to check out some more of your work now.

the hilt is meant to be an uneven stone. Kind of wanted the sword itself to look a bit unassuming which is why it has a bland guard and a simple wrap on the handle and an uneven and unpolished stone on the hilt. So I guess that worked

God of Knowledge? Are you the physical embodiment of knowledge or do you just wield all knowledge.

He wields it within his sword. He doesn't have the answers to everything, but the sword has given him the great burden of protecting knowledge and wiping out ignorance.
