Disco likes to listen to music and play games, he is a social butterfly—well, toucan. However, he can be pretty quiet until he gets to know you. He prefers to research his opinion of something before sharing it. Disco tries to be very generous and polite, and doesn’t see any point in going out of his way to be rude to people, when he could learn more from them. He loves colors and sweets, and all things that glitter and shine.

He loves a good party, and will spend his nights singing (badly) as well as dancing. He is a bit of a music snob, but being polite he is not the type of person to tell someone that he utterly despises that music, He thinks music sounds better on vinyl then it does digitally.

History:

Disco is the youngest and only son of 5. His mother was a baker and his father was a laborer. His father was quite a bit older than his mother and as such, he died when Disco was very young. His family says that he resembles the toucan quite a bit but, having never known the man, Disco always shrugged it off.

Being the baby of the family, he was always dressed up and spoiled by his sisters. This led to his love for silky and glittery things over the standard boy wear. He worked in the bakery when he was old enough not to be underfoot. Disco didn’t entirely enjoy his time there, not that he disliked bread and pastries, he just thought them bland and colorless, the only things he really enjoyed making were the colorful cookies and cake orders his mother would sometimes get.

Growing up, he started to branch away from the bakery, not that it mattered much, as his sisters had it covered anyway, the two oldest being head over heels in love with baking. Next door to his mother’s bakery was a candy shop, and he would spend a lot of his free time as well as his money there, enjoying the candies and all the beautiful colors and shapes.

He lurked around so much that the owner started to teach him how to make candy, and work with sugars and chocolates. He would have loved to work at the candy shop, but the owner had kids of his own and didn’t need help, so instead, he encouraged Disco to go out into the world and start his own business.

Coming to Idlewood that is what he hoped to do, start out his own candy shop. He had a little money and knowledge, and with his ambition to guide him he hopes to be able to build a candy shop, so he can share his love for candy with everyone else.

Likes to dance and listen to music, meet people and hear their stories, after all, stories are what makes life colorful! He is always on a quest to learn more about candy making and will absorb as many books as he can on the subject.
