My sole comment is that if you could somehow shoot such macros with your camera beneath your face you might catch your own self portrait, but when I've tried to do this, even with non macro shots, it has taken several tries to get the reflection right because you can't see what you are framing up. I love the extremely well captured details of the blue iris.

Thank you for nice suggestion. I will do that like you said, but I'm just thinking of connecting the camera to my laptop. This way I can see the right focus!

I need reading glasses so I set the camera view finder focus to suit me. That means that when my glass get between me and the view finder I can see nothing but blurs. I shoot anyway. What a luxury to have a screen sized view finder!

Thank you Freak. I ever thought that these reflections in the eyes are manipulations, until today that I tried it with a reverse macro! Thnx for your kind comment.
