I really like the texturing that youve done here, and I like that thing on the palm. The only thing Im kind of disappointed in is the fact that you left the hand pretty much the same. I would love instead to have seen you do more with the hands than just leave them where they were. For instance, you could have take the base hand, copied it 5 times, and squeezed them down to fit on the fingers so that the hands on the top are spreading. Just an idea. Dont be afraid to completely distort the hand to do what you want.

But you have also told me youre pretty new at this, so I am taking that into account. For a newbie, I think youve done an excellent job on texturing and color, though, as Ive said, I would like to see you push the boundaries more with what was in the PSD file. But that will come with practice.

All in all, youre off to a very good start with this. Good job.

The image would be awesome except for a few things: 1) the bottom of the hand is not blended well with the rest of the image, it shouldn't be hard to blend it in, airbrush it and possibly use the healing tool and get it blending with the textures 2) tips of the fingers aren't completely rounded, I see some of the color that was on the original still there, not a big deal, but every little thing counts imo.

Very cool style, the hand is awesome, just needs touching up on the lower part and around some of the fingers. Keep up the coolness.
