Scanners suck. Sorry.I did this in water color. I hope you all enjoy it, for what it is.Β I was inspired by my pal to use a more nuanced approach to my pictures and background. If you're out there, Al, i miss ya.

I like the composition of this one, I love how you managed the different tones on the petals! Being a warmer and brighter tone, the rose immediately catches the eye, and it really works in opposition to the creepy, dark hand.

I know you tend to be unhappy with your scanner results. If you haven't tried GIMP (it's a free open source photo editing graphics program) you might find it useful
