Description
This is the working form of the UNSC Spirit of Fire, the detail got a little carried away and I have recently decided to incorporate a space battle as well. The final piece should be done with in a week or two.The battle will also feature (Hopefully) a covenant cruiser, two UNSC Frigates and a series of dogfights between UNSC and covenant fighters.

I agree with your point but I couldn't think of anything else and thought yet another simple picture of a ship would be a little dull.

Sorry *Phoenix* class cruisers aren't exactly rated for big space battles, and if you want to add things, perhaps draw it over Harvest, or floating inside the dyson sphere from Halo Wars, or over Arcadia, or perhaps when it's almost flying into the sun to loop around it to get away from the forerunner world?

They could work, though I'm not sure I would be happy with a planet. I want some action, I will admit I didn't plan this out at the start, I'm just seeing how it develops. Its not canon so I have total freedom, besides, just because a ship was not rated for combat does not mean that the enemy would have let it off scot free.

I do understand where you're coming from, sorry if what I said came out somewhat hostile. The thinking behind it is this: If you look at all of my other Halo drawings I have included a black band across the top. That black band took a hell of a long time to complete so I wanted to drop it from the Spirit of Fire (It was originally intended to be displayed like my UNSC Infinity drawing) but then needed something to fill the space. I did consider and even sketch a planet or two but didn't like it and do not have the skills required to finish it, I can only really do tone or line drawings of machines and maps and have never been very good with colour and organic subjects.

Draw a gas giant then, that's relatively easy to sketch and easy to get right.

Tried that as well haha, the shape was easy enough but it ended up looking more like a cartoon.
