hey, I was thinking... you know, maybe, we could... I don't know, do something together, I'm so deep burried in haikyuu these days (while drawing a doujin for Kuroko no Basuke, cause that's amazing too), and I awe it all to you, and I kinda need someone to share my enthousiasm for cute volleyball players with so... yeah, I don't make much sense, do I? hahaha * hysteria* But think about it and if you have a weird or guilty idea, that's gonna be the best, and I'll do it, cause we should make some kind of collab at some point.

It's gonna blow your mind but... kagakuro. -_-' Yeah, I can't really ship anything else. I think there's a lot of unresolved material that would make it amazing. They have a great dynamics. I don't ship kisekuro (I know LOTS of poeple are into it) cause i can see Kise is interested, but to me, Kuroko isn't. Just like he isn't interested in his so called girlfriend (?!) Momoi is a character I like, but to me she's lying to herself when she tells herself Kuroko is her boyfriend end he's too embarassed and he likes her too much to really clarify the situation (even the team in Seirin seems to think that her story of how they got together is bullshit. Kuroko never told her he loved her, or kissed her...) If you compare that to how Koroko, the one who is supposed to be numb and cold about everything, behaves when Kagami is around, telling him he wants to be his shadow, make him the greatest player in Japan, how hurt he is when Kagami looses teem spirit and wants to win without him, all this is precious. And there's a mystery that still isn't solved: why did Kagami come back from America... WITHOUT his family??? he's only a teenager! what is this ring on his necklace? he lives ALONE and he's a good cook... I see plenty of opportunities there. Sometimes he's amazed by Kuroko, sincerely so, but without this feeling of concurrence he has for other gifted poeple. He respects him, but he's easily embarassed when Kuroko is a bit driven, cause I think he's not dumb, he sees Kuroko truly likes him, and he doesn't want it yet, he's not sure, he needs to build a stronger trust, and also... he feels more confident when he fights opponents, than when he lets things get to him... again, he lives alone, and he might be loud and energetic, but Kuroko, who's the quiet one, has much better socializing skills, Kagami has a hard time opening up, and I find that fascinating. When I read doujins in which kuroko is the basic uke and kagami is a horny seme, I think poeple must have watched an entirely different show than I did. To me, none of them would fit such strongly defined roles, and none of them would rush things.

It's huge indeed, but it's nonsense to me. They're rivals, in the only meaning of the word. RIVALS. But they're hot. Tall, muscular. One has blue hair, the other has red hair. they are not very nice when not tempered by someone more cal and sweet than them and I suppose the "explosive" o "electric" atmosphere between them, the fact that they may have rough sex and then fight and then get back to kinky stuff without a second of fluff appeals to a lot of girls tired of sweet BL that can be frustrating. I understand, but Kagami is more than that to me and I think it would be a shame if he was in such relationship. This ship is wild, physical, sweaty. They both want to be the seme, they fight for dominance. That's why it's so popular.
I kinda felt like that with my FrUS and GerFra fanarts. The world didn't approve, but I kept going, and strange folks came around, and started to thank me for the variety I offered, in the end. THERE ARE WEIRD POEPLE LIKE US, AND THEY WILL BE GLAD WE'RE MAD.

yeah I thought that it has to do something with the sexappeal of daiki and kagamine. the majority of the fanarts I saw were very sex-heavy. The thing is I usually tend to dislike ships where you have two very dominant guys. I think that's because I always seek for balance. Oh and I totally have a thing for this pure fluffy relationships with like a slow burn. (Don't get me wrong, sometimes I read really heavy smut, but overly, romance gets me every time man)
But yeah, I can see why that ship is so appealing to people.
I guess it's a good thing than. In the end everyone should draw/write whatever they like ^^. Since you mentioned GerFra who is the Uke in your perception? Or do they switch??? (I don't know much about hetalia either (except for Prussia x Germany, one of my friends is/was a fan) I had the impression Germany is definitively a top, but I would like to hear your opinion about that matter.

Yes, I see Germany as a top, but that's for the physical part. When it comes to feelings, and deciding everyday life stuff, France would follow most of the times, but when he says no, the worst thing that Germany could do is insist. It's basically forbidden. France would hate to feel pressured into something, and he can hold grudges for a looooong time, so yeah. Germany tops, and France is okay with that. But there is something fragile between them that is on France's side: Germany believes in their relationship, France doesn't. He won't say it clearly but the heart of it is that he doesn't trust Germany, he's afraid of him. So if he sees something is about to go wrong, he flees instantly. For Germany it's seen as France not being into commitment in the first place, he doesn't see that France needs reassurance all the time. France would be too embarassed to talk about what makes him distant, and he'd never ask to be treated VERY carefully, but in the end, that's what it's all about. Sadly, the consequence is that Germany thinks that France is rather cold and interested in sex more than romance! (IRONY!!!) Being with someone he believes is not as romantic as him, Germany will to not show his romantic side. It would be absolutely necessary that no one else tries to get with France for years to make sure these two have a chance together, cause it would take years for France to open up and start trusting Germany. If he sees an opportunity with someone who is less "complicated" for him to be with, he might dump Germany, and it would be a terrible mistake.

I suggest we choose a ship we can both agree on. (1) chooses the concept/scene, (2) draws the scene (1) colors the scene (2) writes down the dialog in the bubbles.
If we make two, one in which you're (1) and the other in which you're (2), we really cover a complete range of creativity and honor the ship choosen, we both get to do each step but both are a mix of our two creativities. It sounds more complicated than it is.

KageHina (cause it makes perfect sense. It just does.)
NishiHina (my crackship I love so much! shame on me!)
In KnB:
KagaKuro LOVE LOVE LOVE (that one was easy. I don't understand any other ship that would include one of them.) I'm okay with AominexMomoi, I suppose, but I just don't like Kise very much. Yeah, nope, I don't. I don't know why, he did nothing wrong. Poor guy, I had to dislike someone, and it was him.
In Free!:
MakoHaru (I want Makoto to get what he wants, my sweet Makoto! (who admitted that he was jealous of how important Rin was to Haru? Ahah, I wasn't going to miss that line!!!) and Rin has Sousuke now... AND they go perfectly well together!!! SousukexRin all the way!!! My point is: RinxHaru? NOH. Pronounced with a h at the end to accentuente my disapproval XD

it's funny when you said you like to ship a certain type of characters: I do too! mine are the sweet and energetic kind, i guess. To me, Hinata is sheer perfection. The best main character! Makoto is incredibly sweet, and he restrains himself a lot for his lover's sake, which reminds me of me a lot. (best husband!) and Kagami is so full of stamina he's like a bomb ready to explode and it takes Kuroko's complexity and sweetness to truly make him shine (best teammates there)

Oh my I laughed so much at your response. I love it when people talk/write so lovely about their ships cause usually I can't talk about fandom related stuff to my friends that much (cause the majority isn't in my Fandoms or don't like shonen ai/yaoi) .
I totally agree with the sports anime. At first you're like ugh...sports anime, but then it sucks you in and you can't escape anymore

Daisuga (because I ship them sooo hard man), KageHina is also sweet but I never ever read a single ff about them so I don't have a clue what they're like in fanon.
Since I am not a big KnB fan I am fine with basically any ship from KnB (unless its Aomine x Kagami) and relating to Free! I'm kind of happy about your choice cause I don't like RinxHaru either haha. So Makoharu or Sourin are both fine. I personally would say Sourin cause Sousuke is kind of my weak point but MakoHaru are cute too so it's your choice
