African Cape Buffalo (Syncercus caffer)Madikwe Game Reserve
North West Province, South Africa
One of the big five in Africa (the big five consisting of Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino) and certainly one of the more dangerous animals in Africa. Although a herbivore it is very quick to attack when it feels threatened. Be careful.

Yep, only one of several I took so was lucky. It was so dark - very early and overcast - so was lucky.
You can see by the low shutter speed, high ISO and wide open aperture conditions were trying.
