Marsh Pride Cub on LogThis young cub is one of the three that we saw with the Marsh Pride, in the Maasai Mara, Kenya. The Marsh Pride was made famous by a long running series, called "Big Cat Diary". After dipping themselves in some water, the cubs had fun playing amongst these logs providing a great photo opportunity.

It's a beautiful picture of a young cub from the Marsh Pride...
One of the marsh pride lioness, Bibi, was found poisoned she was part of Big Cat Diary. Along with two other lions that were found poisoned, herdsmen of the masai were arrested. But here's the problem when they are laying out besides a reserve for wild animals and if their valued cow gets killed, they put a poison that is pink on the carcass and sadly, hyenas, vultures even lions eat the carcass without knowing their is a chemical on it. Also another problem the masai has is that if they are herding their cattle and they walk them through the reserve for wild animals that are protected that causes lots of conflict.

Wouldn't be great if Big Cat Diary did Jaguars, Tigers, Snow Leopards and Cougars?

Wow, yes! At the drop of a hat. It's expensive though and so that would be the roadblock as well as time away from family of course.
