It's tough to find good cosplayers that match their characters. Hahah. Don't lost hope!

My hometown of Mancelona is in the northern part of Michigan. It's very small so there aren't many of us cosplayers. And yes it is hard to find cosplaers who really get into their characters. I hope to be a theater major in college so cosplaying really helps me develop my skills. If that makes any sense at all.

that would be awesome! There are a couple of cons that I'm not allowed to attend because of the location. Youmacon and Godeikocon. Youmacon is in Detroit and Godeiko is in Troy with is near Detroit. The con that is closest to me is The northern Michigan Anime Convention which is Traverse City Michigan. i live about 40 miles from there. With gas being so high I think i might just book a room this year.

I don't get to attend many cons due to money expenses but when I do go I have a really good time. I was lucky to be invited to Shuto Con in Lansing Michigan by a friend of mine from town. She payed for my badge and everything. All I have to worry about is spending money. With Anime Central though I had to pay for the badge and bring money for the room. Another friend of mine is taking me for my birthday.

I guess. To be honest I really don't have many friends at all. I'm bullied in school believe it or not. Well i'm not really bullied but people tend to avoid me so I don't really have the chance to talk.

That's alright though! You work on being the best person you can be, someone you are pleased with. In time, that will bring people whom you WANT to be around you, to you. Does that make sense? If people so quickly avoid and judge you then those are people you don't want as friends then.

Same here! You should look into coming to some cons in Michigan. Sure they're not as big as the ones out in California but they're still pretty fun. I'd love to go to Michigan conventions. The thing is, it requires that people call and submit requests at the convention to get me to go so the convention books me.
