Description I was absent for a while, because I was at an art trip, from school. I missed you all on dA  
So to commemorate my coming back, a drawing of Yugao, yet again    This time, she's wearing her work clothes. I tried a different style of shading black clothes. It's really HARD  

The title is from a song by Radical Face "Always Gold". www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOQQju… It's more of a reference to her eyes, than her story

What a neat picture, I love the shading and the hair. The accent of red really brings out the black and white aspect of this piece.

Thank you! Yes She's half human - half spirit, and she works in a shadow organization, that takes care of problems arising from the existance of the spirit world.

not written unfortunately. I've been drawing it a bit, but I don't rally have the time to do something serious with it. So the story's mainly in my head

...where all good stories are born. It sounds an intriguing  idea. I used always to have a story kicking around in my head as I painted, and it was many years before I started writing them down.

This is so dynamic! The pose is really well done! The shading is also cool and I agree that her hair look great! I would not notice that her eyes match the title but once you mentioned it, it really adds to the overall impression, thanks for sharing! I hope your art trip was nice!
