ah. Back when he still had that long headbangity hair. Which looks totally awesome here, you captured the movement so well. great shot. I also really like the lighting here.

You have some awesome band photography here, sir.
You've probably been asked this a million times, but: what kind of camera do you use?
I go to a lot of concerts as well, and my camera always blurs great action shots like this, or it washes out most of the color due to the crappy flash.
Anyways, keep up the good work.

Hey Patryk, technical question - when you shoot concerts do you try to shoot on the 1 or 4?

hmm I don't understand your question

When I shoot concerts I start counting the beats of the song, 1 - 2 - 3 - 4. I usually take the shot on the 1 because that is the start of the measure & usually when a musician will make the most expression or lands from a jump or starting moving at all. Sometimes 4 works too.

Oh ok.. I never done it that way. I mean i've been playing music for about 25 years now so I do it without thiking about it. And I sometimes look and wait for a shot.

I knew you played, that's why I asked. I have been playing for about 20 yr, bass & drums, and instinctively start taping my foot to the beat and firing on the 1. Sometimes I will wait for a shoot, but for me the best shot always seem to fall on the 1. Weird question I know, but was wondering if you do the same. I love all your photo work, but your concert stuff is really cool!
