Description Well... This is my first ever oil painting. It was kind of challenging. I started it with absolutly no knowledge of oil painting tehniques (nothing to be proud of, really) and I changed the way I was painting it three times during the process before I was satisfied with the way the paint acted. This is an impression of Where are we going? stock photo by ~reallydoc included in his ~reallydoc-stock (Thanks for the permission!). I really hope you'll like it. I know it's not even close to perfection, but I reckon it's not bad for my first go either.

And by the way - autumn is going to extend its rign over us any moment now. I'm kind of glad. I like autumn. Things go slower in autumn...

Ha... mój tata właśnie namalował swoją wersję tego pejzażu. Poczułem się taaaki malutki Będę wrzucać go niedługo do jego galerii.

I have two sisters in Sweden. I never visited them there, but it's one of my plans for the next couple of years to go there. And I have high expectations

You won't be disappointed. Last time I visited it took my breath away. Sweden is very beautiful. I miss it a lot.

Ah yes, reminds me of my morning walks in the Great Smokey Mountains of North Carolina during the fall, nothing better than turning leaves and cool misty walks on an old dirt road. Never tried oil paint, but brought with me this trip some canvas, oils, and brushes to give it a shot. Now I just to work up the nerve.

not bad for a first try. i got some oil painting im my gallery. check them out if you like. play with medium next time. you will have whole lot of different brush touch on the canvas too.(especially viscosity and transparency)

This is incredibley good. This really wouldn't look out of place in a museum or gallery of impressionist works. The amount of depth, and atmosphere you'll managed is great, and you've changed the reference picture enough for it to be original anyway. Great work.
