I think the lack of Cartoon Network characters is weird. But I didn't have much space to work with after I added the PBS characters

Oh nice. I've been taking a break from collecting Hot Wheels character cars so I can focus my efforts on building my GameCube collection. And yes. I bought a GameCube. Again. This time being a DOL-101 instead of a DOL-001. There's not much difference between the two models. The only games I own right now are Namco Museum, Sonic Heroes and Muppets Party Cruise.

RPGs were never really my thing. My preferred genres for video games are kart racing, platformers and fighting games.
While the GameCube doesn't offer much in terms of fighting games outside of Super Smash Bros. Melee, there a few Mortal Kombat games on it. Plus Capcom VS SNK 2 is the next best thing since Capcom and Marvel didn't bother porting Marvel VS Capcom 2 to the system.

Yep. Examples include ARMS, Blade Strangers, Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, Crystal Crisis, Dragon Ball Fighterz, My Hero One's Justice, Pokken Tournament DX, SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection and Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers to name a few of the fun fighting games on the Switch. Or at least the ones I own that aren't Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

In all honesty, the reason why I bought a GameCube again was because it was my childhood. More so than the Nintendo 64.
For a little background, on my 7th birthday in 2003, my parents got me a GameCube and a copy of Super Mario Sunshine. Later on, I would use my birthday money to buy Super Smash Bros. Melee without my mom knowing that it was rated T and over the years, I built a collection that suited my gaming needs. A mix of platformers, kart racing games, party games and Super Smash Bros. Melee. I wasn't really into fighting games back then. That wouldn't happen until I became a teenager.

I don't remember what my old collection was like outside of Smash, Sunshine, Sonic and Mega Man but I do remember owning Mario Parties 6 and 7 and getting them for Christmas the years they came out. Also, in one of those years, my older brother got me Kirby Air Ride as a Christmas gift as well. I guess the reason for that is because when I rented it from a video store, he and I both had a blast playing it together. Especially the City Trial mode.

Long story short, my collection consisted mainly of Mario games, Sonic games, Smash Bros, any other Nintendo franchises I liked at the time, compilation games and games based on cartoons and shows I liked.

Okay. If I had to give one suggestion right away, it would be Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure. Yeah. It's just a game reusing the same engine as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. But the reason why I'm recommending it to you is because one of the 3 movies to be represented is The Lion King. Imagine shredding it up as Simba through Pride Rock or the Elephant Graveyard. It's a fantastic game for what it's worth.

Yeah. When it comes to my GameCube collection plan, I decided to have licensed games take a backseat. It's like adding spice to food. A little bit here and there enhances the overall flavor and experience. But too much can overpower everything.

True. But I was still curious about the game and it's pretty fun. Nothing too spectacular. But still fun none the less. Though I'm still ticked off they didn't include the Loud House

That's true. But the more likely reason is because the game was made on a shoestring budget and the developers didn't want to go to too many Nicktoon creators and only decided on 4 shows to be in the game. Those being Stephen Hillenburg for SpongeBob, Arelne Klasky, Gabor Csupo and Paul Germain for Rugrats, Craig Bartlett for Hey Arnold and Keven Eastman and Peter Laird for the Ninja Turtles.

Yep. It was released in October of 2018 and I ended up getting it this past April thanks in large part to my tax return this year.
