Description
Clay the MudWing is a prime example of how looks can be deceiving.

Raised under a mountain for nearly 7 years, Clay was hatched from a blood red egg, making his scales impervious to almost any amount of heat. He can hold his breath for up to an hour underwater, (Or preferably under mud) and is by far the strongest of the dragonets, his strength only being rivaled by his appetite. When he was hatched, his caretakers allegedly had to throw him in a river to stop him from attacking the other eggs in his nest.

However, despite his intimidating appearance and history, Clay is by far the most gentle giant you will ever meet. Unlike his rude and abrasive counterpart, Ochre, Clay has a big heart (Earning him the affections of a particular SkyWing), and nearly gave his life on one eventful occasion to save his friends. Whenever his friends get into an argument, you can expect Clay to be close by, calmly trying to break it up.

After the War of SandWing Succession, Clay moved on to become a mentor at the Jade Mountain Academy, where he can put his friendly personality to good use. However, since the enrollment of a certain NightWing dragonet, things have started to get a little chaotic...
