I just love this scene from RE2, when Ada confess love to Leon, and then "dies". It was so sad.
That's why I'm furious with Capcom for screwing up the feeling between those two in RE4 with that crappy dialogue:
*after not seeing each other for 6 years*
Ada: Leon. Long time no see.
Leon: So it is true...
Ada: True? About what?
Leon: You, working with Wesker.
Damn you Capcom

I agree with you. I was so mad about that re4 dialouge. Leon was just like "Hi, your bad. Bye." Are you kidding me? What happened to all the emotion in re2? ADAAAAAAAAA! I really enjoyed being with you Leon. I wanted to escape with you, escape from everything. *present* Need a ride handsome. Leon: Ok. And he just sits silent the whole boat ride. Next game with them Capcom needs to improve their relationship. Also lol I got side tracked. Great pic. I love how you colored the key parts only

I think in RE4 they were trying to guard against each other b/c of what happened in Raccoon (Ada falling in love with Leon, Leon being played for a fool). BUT it didn't work, and Leon was left the fool ONCE AGAIN.

Dont watch the Resident Evil Degeneration movie if you stand for the love between Leon and Ada it will only break you worse. He feels for some lousy chick who has nothing to do with the series. Little kiss scene too. :/

And it looks Leon turns into some kind of playboy recently: Ada, Hunnigan and now Angela (Ashley gets no love from Leon though).

Ya maybe he likes playing them, cause we all know he could win Claire or Ashley over. I just don't like thinking of him as a James Bond time of person, cause I like the bad ass in him that was devoted to a woman who betrayed him. That's some undying love. I did watch the movie again and yes I say the bubbles come out from her mouth and him give the oxygen back so yes you two are right.

You think so? I could tell the air got knocked out of her I just don't know cause when the hooker from the movie said "let's go diving again." He agreed to it! >( Made me angry. lol and I assume Ada is still alive cause she works for Wesker and Wesker is still alive when he was clearly killed my the Tyrant in RE1 so I figured maybe she somehow was in with him from the begininng with Wesker though I am with you and I truly want the two together even if she is with Wesker, she obviously has been playing both sides though. I don't know, thats just my thoughts!

Nor does Wesker. If you play Umbrella Chronicles Wesker injects himself with something, whatever it is he kept him from dying when he got stabbed by a tyrant and got left in the mansion that exploded. Since Ada works for him, he probably gave her whatever it was he had. Explains why she didn't die just the same as Wesker didn't

Damn, wonder what it is. Maybe a Las Plagas type? The villagers never really decomposed or died, (till Leon showed up)and other than the mind-control by the sound waves thing, they seemed ok.

ya that would make sense, she just has control. What his the little guy's name...um salzar! He had the virus he just kept it in check...must be that, hopefully Resident Evil will answer that soon. Wesker is going to be in resident Evil 5 so maybe Ada will make her rounds into it somehow too!

they had no time for romance in RE4. Leon acted a little cold, sure, but think about it: woman who loves you/you love or not, he's heard she was working for umbrella, a corporation that's caused him a lot of pain. i'd sound a little cold too.
but his line at the end makes up for it i think:
Ashley: who was that woman anyway?
Leon: a part of me I can't let go.

I love love love this! the shading is AWSOME! that scene is sooo sad!
You can tell they still care about each other because Ada saves Leon like a bazillon times and Leon told Ashley, Ada was "a part of me I can't let go"
and if you watch the cutscene were Leon chokes Ada, you can see Ada kinda close her eyes and lift her hand up to put on Leons chest. Like she thought he was going to kiss her.
