Not to sure what is so wrong with it a world with out sonic isn't just doomed anyway (just look at the end of the game) But Amy also had no reason to believe silver and because this theme of would you choose sonic or the world would for Amy never touched again can't we be sure that If she would be confronted with the undeniable truth that sonic is going to destroy the world If she would still choose sonic.

I don't get why so many are trashing this quote. I think it was an emotional scene. It also shows how much Amy loves Sonic. She flat out stated Sonic would never destroy someone else's world. She only said this, in response to if it were even possible. It helped reflect how lonely Amy is, and how Sonic is the only person who gives her the strength to be happy in life. I doubt it would be an easy decision for her either. Amy was just saying she'd rather live her life being with Sonic, instead of living life without him. It could be worse, it's not like she said if the world and Sonic were in trouble, that she'd rather save herself. Regardless, I don't think people were supposed to hear Amy say that as a demented thought, she was just trying to tell Silver how Sonic would never cause a world destruction, and she was trying to show Silver how strongly she believes in Sonic.Ā
