I'm pretty new to critiques, but I'll give this a try.
When I first saw this painting, I never would've guessed that you used oil colors for this. The fact that you used oil amazed me, and I love the way you've done the shadowing for everything, especially the water and the boat. The perspective is presented very nicely, I feel as if the ship is truly headed toward my way. Illustrations do not contain words, but I can feel the emotion coming from this painting and your imagination of the boat itself.
The only thing that I thought was neutral for me were the clouds. I absolutely loved the sky, but the clouds seemed so long and distant. However, that is also what makes this painting unique, so I don't necessarily have a problem with the clouds.
What I genuinely like the most is your coloring. Your coloring seems so clear, and the shading stands out tremendously. All I can express at the moment is that you've truly created one of the most alluring masterpieces I've seen.

Overall, this is a good painting of an old sailing ship. Now, there are a lot of pictures of ships like these, but the artwork is still nice. The land behind the ship is nicely done. The green patches nicely represent untouched areas of forest and farmland, the grey the rocky mountains, and the white and black houses and buildings near the shoreline. There is a lot of detail on the ship, which is good. I can see different structures and the shadows they cast. The waves were nicely done; different shades of blue depicted where the light hit, and the waves were raised a little to show that the sea is not totally flat. However, when I look at where the water touches the ship, the waves look flat against it. It looks like the water was almost made of clay and the ship was just stuck onto it. If there was just a touch of white foam arranged around the ship's hull, it would look more realistic. And then there is the sky. The sky directly above the land and the water looks fine; I can see the clouds and they do look fine. But I do not like the different shades of blue streaking together. It's like someone just placed a piece of satin for the background. And the signature at the corner would better match the piece if it looked liked it was written in oil paint. But good job!

Your signature works as the name of the ship... I love it! O.o
I find the clouds a bit distracting, maybe they should have been a bit more blurry? Still don't let my simple critique dissuade you, this is an awesome painting!

I absolutely adore the wave in which you've done the waves here. You've captured them so well and the detailing and shading in the boat is amazing!
