Description
Finally done and he looks like something out of Shoxx circa 2007!
He is a satori, which is mind-reading, sasquatch type of yōkai, so all that blue stuff on his arms and chest is fur. They speak the thoughts of their victims outloud to confuse and disorient them.
His last name is Ueyama, but I didn't feel like putting it on there
Also, his neck tattoo says "THINK"

Satoru used to live on a pretty much uninhabited mountain in Japan, so his only idea of how people really dressed was a magazine his cousin left him when he visited, which is what is going on in his current look. There are some very direct references used on him, kudos if you can figure them out! He DID NOT dress this way before he moved btw
He moved here because his dad got a job offer, but he moved a few months earlier than his parents so he could be here when school started. He's currently living with his cousin.
Friend Info: Satoru is accepting friends, however he only likes people who are extremely extroverted or extremely introverted, similarly he only likes people who are very smart or that are easily manipulated.
He is not interested in a girlfriend/boyfriend currently, but feel free to add him as a crush if you want to.

Can I also say that I just looooove the fact that his favorite food is crepes. And not just any crepes by looking at the art, but the crepes that they sell in Harajuku

He seems really cool, I love how he seems kinda judgemental without being shallow about it- its not a combination I see often. Absolutely adore his colors and his outfit and his pet peeve makes so much sense its just funny. Has the greatest reason to hate liars ever, being able to read their minds. Strangely despite admitting he doesn't keep secrets well he doesn't seem like a gossip or anything. He's really well balanced.
Personal comment about fandom in general though, not just about character, I really don't get why everyone always asks "can xyz be friends?" why doesn't anyone u no... ask if they can rp to SEE how the characters would interact. I personally have to see how my characters react with people before saying if they can be friends. Although, it's nice that you look through the characters to see what their like and judge if you think they could be friends. I don't think a lot of people do that.

I don't know. I personally don't do a lot of RPing with my characters outside of their tumblrs, so for me I just wouldn't feel like it, though if someone really liked to RP I can see that being fun for them. I think that if you wanted the characters to be friends though, it wouldn't matter if you RPed or not because if you had that in mind when you were RPing it would happen because you wanted it to.

As for the rp thing, I don't think thats necessarily true if you stick true to the character's personality. Just personally out of rping and writing characters (my own and others) interact themselves, they tend to do things I never expected or I even hate. They've made friends with unexpected people and when I get in their heads when things happen to them they fuck with my emotions. I can't say for sure its not subconscious wanting it to happen but it don't feel like it is. I have a character right now (he doesn't have a bio) he's a stalker and abusive and obsessive and all I want is for him to leave his lover alone or stop being abusive but he won't do it and the guy won't leave him.
I guess people deal with characters on different levels, but to me i'd rather see how people interact first because the most unexpected things happen when you have no expectations first.
