World: Kemonomimi World/Circus Story
Family: Chi-chan (like an older brother, from the same orphanage

Story: Oji was dropped off at the Kemono Orphanage at about the same as Chi-chan. The only thing connecting him to his actual family is his stuffed bear, which he never leaves behind. Oji was always a quiet child, never wanting to join the other orphan children whenever they had group activities or playing on the playground. One kid, Chi-chan, always tried to include him but Oji felt that if he did something bad would happen. This feeling was due to his unique powers. He was the only one to know and knew he had to keep it that way. In middle school, after class, he was practicing his magic only to get caught by some bullies. Thankfully, Chi-chan was walking by and able to protect him. Chi-chan became Oji's guardian but unaware of his powers. It was then on, the two were inseparable until high school.
One day, a circus came to town. A unique circus that travels from realm to realm. (My other OC Worlds) Chi-chan was excited to go so he dragged Oji along, although, Oji secretly wanted to go too. The two were amazed by the mini shows and unique wonders. But Chi-chan wasn't as excited as Oji, as he felt something different, something welcoming about the place. It was during one of the magic shows that an accident occurred with Oji's powers. His powers over came him, going wild across the tent shooting at watchers but not hitting them but one, Chi-chan. Thankfully it wasn't harmful but it did make plant leaves permanently grow on Chi-chan's head. Oji became a target at school and the orphanage, claiming him as a monster, even though Chi-chan loved his new look.
That night, Oji ran away to the circus, knowing there he could be himself. He begged to the ringmaster to let him join and they did. From then on, Oji traveled with the circus to different realms, meeting different people and creatures, and learning new things about himself and his powers. Chi-chan was devastated to see his family gone but one day, he received a magic letter from Oji. Oji would write almost everyday to Chi-chan, letting him know he was safe and telling his phantasmal adventures, and promising one day he'll come home and become a stronger man, worthy of respect.
