Use clear nail polish if you have any as an alternative. It works nicely but sort of smells a bit. :T

Yeah. :3 It's usually used for a shiny finish after you finish painting your nails but I use it as a glaze for my polymer clay things.

Oh and also it might distort the colour a bit, but it's only done that once to a charm I made so I don't know if it's a reoccurring thing or not.

After I glazed my Whale charm, the clear nail polish made a small part of the whale turn lavender. It's hardly noticable, but I think it could happen with darker shades of colours? Black would be fine though. Nothing happened to the eyes.

Yeah. Real glaze makes it more shiny and I don't think it smalls as much. Tell me if you find a good brand! :3
