This is my entry for fanart contest. I had a lot of fun with this one. I especially liked painting the snowflakes, even though they were frustrating. I know it is impossible for them to be that large, but I had to exaggerate them a little for detail.

Anyway, the boy beside Yoite is a younger version of himself. In the beginning of the series, Yoite really disliked himself (well, maybe REALLY REALLY hate himself would be more correct), but throughout the anime, he seemed to accept and forgive himself a little more. I know it is impossible for them to be together at the same time, but I wanted to show that he finally realized that he is worthy of love and happiness, and that he always has deserved it, even though his family despised him.

I also wanted to draw him happy with snow. Something bad always happened in the manga/anime when snow was involved.

Colored with: Pastels, acrylic paint, watercolors, coffee water (yes, you read that right), charcoal and Prismacolor pencils.
