Beautiful reflection, and I like the soft focus on the petals.

you'll get to where you want to be keep at it.....I failed so many times when I first got my extension tubes, it's sad really....1000's images got trashed in those days...ugh

yes I would estimate my ratio is about 25 to one .. keep one, trash 25... but I know with patience it has to get better, right?

the ratio will get much better with time your patience WILL be rewarded in due time....took me quite a while to figure out what tube will get me what distance, and then getting the exposure right...well that one took me a bit longer
you're well on your way hon

I have been keeping a photo diary.. keep what I like in a photo album and record what I did right.. it really has helped..

that is very true That has been my weakest point since day one with photography....thus why I shoot very little landscapes

I have tried landscapes too and found that it's not my strong suit. I am much more comfortable with stills..

same here! at least with stills as can move them they way we want them.....can't exactly move a mountain for the light to be right...or people , or cars

when people say "when I put my mind to it, I can move even mountains", we should tell them to come with us!!! have them move it!
