This looks so awesome. And with no tablet? That takes some patience. I love the detail, though, and how the details all blend together, making it look more realistic. Nice moss effect, too.

Very cool! It looks very smooth and detailed. I think you did a really nice job with this for saying you'd developed an interest in digital painting recently.

Maybe some more dramatic lighting would've been cool - if this were a night or sunset scene, I think that would really help the picture "pop"! Just a thought though, it's still really good.

That is a great idea. I'll be sure to incorporate some more interesting lighting scenarios in my future pieces. It never occurred to me to do something with lighting on this piece though...

I was when I was painting it, but for now the plants are the only separate layer
