Featured… Day of the TriffidsI recently read the original novel (1951) by John Wyndham.
A great and creepy read and much more scary than the low budget movie.
(although the movie is still a lot if fun!)

Working with cnc machine all day long, I can relate to all the work involved in creating this. I like it a lot! Some of parts look really small… you have a lot of patience.

I don't want this to be an official critique, but I think it would look nice with more variations in the tints of the stain in the layering. All the top layers seems to be the same tint and goes darker as you get the the rear layers. Maybe mix light and dark layers, maybe a lighter background. Just my humble opinion.

Thanks, believe it or not there are 2 different shades in the upper in the upper layers but it wasnt captured in the photographs. Thanks for the feedback!
