Description This screenshot features gameplay of Colin McRae Rally using PCem v17
To get this game to work properly, in first I had to implement to patch to proceed to menu properly. In order to this I downloaded WinCDemu to convert the patch I had packed into a folder into an ISO file as the emulator will only read these files in emulated CD-ROM. Now another problem was availability for 3D Accelerators, I could select none, as there was no choice and I was forced to use "NO 3D card" in accelerator setting in the game.
However the most challenging part of my struggle to get to play CMR normally as lack of the accelator renders ugly graphics with choppy framerate.
I was looking for the tutorial to setup the emulator for gaming, because I was thinking of setting to emulator for games. S3 Virge/DX device was available with installed accelerators, however I didn't want to use bad 3D cards to play the game. I found installing 3dfx Voodoo3 difficult as it was tricky for me to get the driver work in my virtual machine, until successfully implementing it, the cinematic for Colin McRae Rally is no longer displayed (only music), but the most important element for me was the gameplay, so I checked options and I found the accelerators to be available.

Note: Intros worked well before the operation: Playable Colin McRae Rally
