Description

I wanted to do the cast of Three Houses as kids for a long time. So to start, I drew my favorite friendships outside the Black Eagles.

I wanted their looks to utilize elements from the original 5-year timeskip and also the "Three Hopes" timeskip, but de-aged ten years.

Mercedes: She has a hat but no veil, has a pinafore dress over a two-tone underdress (she has a beige dress in Three Houses but a tan/mocha dress in Three Hopes). The white apron is taken from Three Hopes. Since she only has earrings in her timeskip variants but not in her Academy fit, then she lacks earrings as a kid as well; instead, she has a blue jewel on her dress collar bow. Also, two pigtails as opposed to her one low ponytail in her Academy Phase look. Come to think of it, she look a bit like Barbara from "Genshin Impact" with the pigtails.

Annette: Mainly similar to her original 5-year timeskip look, but with the loopy braids and poufy skirt with ruffle trim from Three Hopes.

Hilda: Her hairstyle is a cross between her Three Hopes design and her Academy Phase design. I reasoned that if Academy Phase = Pigtails, 5-year timeskip = One ponytail, and Three Hopes = Hair bun w/short ponytail, then her de-aged look should be two buns w/short pigtails. Has a mix of elements from both timeskip looks, but like Mercedes, no earrings. Instead, I gave her a necklace.

Marianne: Loose hair taken from Three Hopes, but paired with a small braid referencing both her Academy Phase and 5-year timeskip looks. Wears an embroidered hairclip resembling her lace headband in Three Hopes. Much like Hilda, her dress mixes elements from both timeskips.

I do wish to do some more in the future (Constance comes to mind, and also a de-aged Lysithea with her possible natural hair color); I do acknowledge that two characters already have kid versions of themselves in-game (Edelgard and Dimitri in flashbacks in the Azure Moon route). One that recently popped into my head was kid Ferdinand wearing a black cap; maybe someday. Let me know if there's any characters that you wish to see de-aged designs for.
