Another great piece.
In my opinion it will look much better if you approach the camera to the car to make me to keep my atention on it.
I think the car shader is a bit too glossy.Overall looks very good!

it really does! I was wondering if the background is modeled? or is it an hdri?
If it is an hdri, where did you get it from? I can't find some decent maps that actually do what I want! I know you are using cinema 4D, and I use 3ds max 10 but still. Vray stays the same.

just went on that homepage, and wow those backplates are brilliant! The best I've ever seen, but for me they are too expensive! I only use them as my hobby, so I don't think it's worth buying them? And the other thing is that I don't even know if I can get a decent result with my rendering setups!
You used vray sun on yours? My problem is that I'm not good at rendering, and I don't want to spend 100€ on some backplates that I can't use because of my "poor" rendering skills.
Would you still recommend them? If you want you can have a closer look at my audi R8, that one is quite detailed, and I'm not about to let that one down so far! I'll definitely get back to that one some day...
thanks!

Normally you would get a descent result with them. The Quality is very good. Maybe you had to modify your set up a little bit to fit them? Skills come from partice so if i were you i would give them a try or you first try it with some free ones but there are only a few which are good. Some times i use the Vray sun but i depends on the lighting in the Backplate and what i want to achieve.

I'm always forced to shit a brick every time I see one of your renders, mainly because I then have to look for things that let me know that it can't be a photo, which has gotten progressively harder every time.
Excellent work!

do you add VrayDirt to the tires to get that look ?

No, the tires are unwrapped and textured with handpainted textures to get that look.
