Description ORGANIZATION AETERNUS FILE

OWNER:  Muddler
NAME:  Gibraelx
PRONUNCIATION:  Gib-rail-iks
GENDER:  Male
AGE TRANSFORMED:  19
PROOF OF EXISTENCE:  The Threads of Fate
ELEMENT:  Fate
WEAPON:  5 microfilament wires, named Seraph
SOMEBODY'S NAME:  Gabriel Isaiah Anderson
HEARTLESS NAME (optional):  Lucifer, the Fallen
HOMEWORLD:  Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden

HAIR COLOR/LENGTH/STYLE:  Gibraelx has short, spiky, dirty blonde hair.  At first glance, the spikiness of his hair looks mildly unnatural, and it is.  It takes him a great deal of hair gel to get it that way every morning.
EYE COLOR:  Gibraelx's eyes are leafy green.
SKIN TONE:  Gibraelx is very pale.
HEIGHT:  5'11'
WEIGHT:  125 lbs.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS:  The most distinguishing thing about Gibraelx, other than his small size, are the three scars running down the right side of his face, from his cheek down to his neck.

Gibraelx looks very androgynous, in his body structure and facial features.  In fact, if his hair was longer (and his voice a few octaves higher) he could probably be mistaken for a girl.
NON-UNIFORM WEAR:  Whenever he's not in his uniform, Gibraelx tends to dress rather casually.  His typical non-uniform outfit just consists of a long-sleeved shirt, usually white, and usually wool, although he can change it depending on how hot/cold the area is, a pair of jeans, and some black shoes.  Other than that, he doesn't really mix it up too much.
ACCESSORIES:  Gibraelx actually never wears the gloves he was assigned with the uniform.  Instead, he has a pair of gloves that allow him to use Seraph more effectively, that are several times thicker, and have the Organization Aeternus symbol on the backs of his hands.

He's also been seen wearing an orange scarf from time to time.
PERSONALITY:  At first glance, if Gibraelx wasn't wearing his uniform, and you didn't know him very well, you might not think that he's a Nobody.  At first glance, Gibraelx acts very kind, friendly, and generally seems like a good guy, the kind of guy you'd want to be around.

Unfortunately, this is an act.  Not even an act that Gibraelx puts on because he wants to try and fool himself into thinking he can feel, but something much deeper, and much worse than that.  Gibraelx, at his core, thinks that the world revolves around him, and has some moments where his entire conscience seems to lapse, seems to disappear behind a dark and smiling face.  At his core, Gibraelx finds it very difficult to have an ounce of concern for anyone or anything else.  Everything, man, woman, child, Heartless, Somebody, and Nobody, exists as a tool for Gibraelx.  It seems as though he has some grandiose master plan that requires pawns, but exactly what this master plan is, or even if Gibraelx knows what he's doing himself, seems to be a mystery.

Gibraelx, however, prefers to maintain the facade of being a nice guy.  It's easier to manipulate people when they don't know you think of them as less than dirt.  Gibraelx is very polite, very kind, and is always to lend a helping hand.  Every word he speaks is carefully chosen, carefully selected, for the maximum impact, to get precisely what he wants from whoever he happens to be speaking to.  Be they useful temporarily, or for his long term plans, Gibraelx will not change.  He will only show his dark side to those he feels will not tell anyone, or those who are about to die.  However, when he gets dark, he gets dark.  Gibraelx is capable of easily injuring men, women, children, innocents, or those who have caused harm to him, none will be spared.  Gibraelx can be exceptionally sadistic when he needs to be.

At the same time, once Gibraelx has latched onto someone, he is very unwilling to let them go.  The other sides of Gibraelx's personality include him being exceptionally clingy, susceptible to jealousy, and possessive.  Once he has sunk his claws into you, don't expect him to let go any time soon.
LIKES: Peace and quiet, books, being alone, sugary substance of any sort, especially chocolate, classical music, loud thunderstorms, warm, summer days, reading people's fates, manipulating people, Nagexl, playing piano, butchering people in absolutely cruel and inhumane fashions.
DISLIKES:  Being touched, loud or obnoxious people, spicy food, Gaxre, Superior Daxes, Zaxin, pop music, winter, Wildcards, being touched, other people causing bloodshed when it isn't necessary, alcohol, Gaxre, the Superiors, authority in general, being touched, fighting, unintelligent people, Saxica, and being touched.
QUOTE(s):  "There are no coincidences.  Just fate."
"I have your future, I need the context."
"Didn't you hear?  I'm a monster."

HOW ELEMENT AND WEAPON ARE USED:  Gibraelx controls the element of fate.  Unfortunately for him, this element is only effective against Somebodies, sentient Heartless and other humanoid Nobodies like other Organization members.  The basics of his ability can be explained only in the hypothetical, as even Gibraelx finds it hard to explain his ability.  Every human, sentient Heartless, and high-powered Nobody has "threads", which are ethereal, electric blue wisps, that branch off their body.  Each of these threads represents a potential future.  Threads can range from a few inches in length, meaning the person in question will not live much longer, or up to three feet, meaning an extraordinarily long life is ahead of them.  By touching a person's threads, Gibraelx can gain information about that specific thread, by having it projected straight into his head.  What kinds of images he sees are completely random, but he can eventually see the entire projected life of a thread by holding onto it for long enough.  However, since Gibraelx is usually wearing his thick, leather gloves, his visions tend to be fuzzier, and require him to hold on longer.

Certain people have destinies that are irrevocably entwined with others.  Gibraelx can see these bonds  connections form, and, if the people are close enough, can usually see the combined destinies.  When this happens, threads will change color and tie into each other, although neither party will be aware of this.  The color has no effect on what kind of bond exists, it seems to be completely at random.

As the threads seem to give off their own light, Gibraelx can also see in the dark quite well if he's with other people, by using their threads as a light source.  However, Gibraelx has his moments of weakness.  In moments of twilight, such as sunrise, and sunset, the threads become nigh invisible, and in large groups of people (20+ is enough to start overwhelming Gibraelx) can cause Gibraelx to start experiencing sensory overload.  In small enough groups, this will simply manifest as a headache, but as the number of people increase, Gibraelx will start to experience vertigo, and as the groups grow larger, eventually pass out.  Gibraelx can sometimes increase his tolerance to large groups of people by wearing sunglasses, or being introduced to people in small increments.

Gibraelx's powers also seem to be wildly inconsistent.  On some days, his brain, simply overwhelmed by the strain that his powers cause him, will simply cause him to stop seeing threads for an indeterminate amount of time.  But then, there's also people whose threads he sometimes just can't see at all...

These people, he calls "Wildcards".  Wildcards are people who Gibraelx has never been able to see, and never will be able to see, no matter how hard he looks, or how many times.  To date, he's only really gotten to know two Wildcards, but they may be more common than he thinks.  The only known Wildcards are the Nobodies Cilxea and Gaxre.  Not only can Gibraelx not see their threads, but if they form connections with others, he will not be able to see these connections at all.

What makes Gibraelx's powers special, and especially dangerous for someone with his deviant mind, is his ability to share what he sees in people's threads.  He calls this "projecting", when he shows someone what he has seen.  Gibraelx can project through one of two ways.  He can either use his hands, which is his preferred method, or project through Seraph.  When Gibraelx is projecting through touch, he needs to have his gloves off, or needs bare skin.  With his gloves on, the only hope of getting a clear image is by brushing against a patch of bare skin, usually the person's face or hands.  If he doesn't have his gloves, he can do it through a few layers of clothing, but no clear images will go through anything thicker than an Organization Aeternus coat.  Gibraelx likes to use this to show people less than pleasant futures, to stun them through temporary sensory overload, or, when not in battle, to use it to more effectively manipulate people.  We'll discuss projection through Seraph below.

Seraph, Gibraelx's weapon, consists of five microfilament wires, each six feet in length, and one for each finger on one hand.  Gibraelx can summon between 1 to 5 of the wires, on either hand, but not both.  So, if he wanted to summon two wires, he would have to summon them both on the same hand.  The wires of Seraph are almost invisible in many situations, and razor sharp, even able to cut through stone.  In battle, Gibraelx will typically summon all five wires, and use the other hand to manipulate the wires.  Seraph has a full range on all sides of Gibraelx, but he is just as susceptible to its razored bite as anyone else, and refuses to defend himself from behind with it.

Projecting through Seraph, while something that Gibraelx does not enjoy doing, is something that is more effective in battle.  If Gibraelx focuses, he can send an image down Seraph's wires, which will appear in the opponent's head as soon as the wires cut through the skin.  The one downfall of this technique is that if Gibraelx wants to project through Seraph, it can only be the same image in all the wires, so he has to be certain that it will have an equal effect on the people that he is cutting.
STRENGTHS:  Psychological warfare, fighting in the dark, quick and speedy battles, fighting against human opponents or opponents who are susceptible to his psychological warfare, the lethality of Seraph, his rather small size and his ability to talk himself out of most situations.
WEAKNESSES:  His inherent clumsiness, his lack of stamina or constitution, the lethality of Seraph, fighting against large groups, fighting against non-sentient Heartless, armor, and Wildcards.

MISCELLANEOUS:  Gibraelx is extremely, extremely haphephobic (afraid of touch).  He has no control over this, and anyone touching him without his consent, even someone accidentally brushing their hand against his, will cause him to twitch away uncomfortably.  More prolonged contact will eventually result in him hyperventilating, panicking, full blown panic attacks and passing out.

Gibraelx has a very strange metabolism.  No matter how much food he eats, be it junk food or otherwise, he never seems to gain a pound.  He has a particularly large sweet tooth, and loves chocolate, and also has a talent for baking chocolate chip cookies.

Gibraelx is ambidextrous.

At first glance, given the fact that he's so tiny and his weapon is nigh invisible, one would think that Gibraelx would be very good at stealth, right?  Wrong.  He is exceptionally, exceptionally clumsy and has trouble walking on a flat surface enough times.

He plays the piano.  He can hit all the right notes, rhythms, read what's written on the page, but there seems to just be something...missing when Gibraelx plays.  Something like emotion, perhaps?

BACKGROUND:  To quote Leo Tolstoy, "All happy families are alike, each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way".   Gibraelx began his life as the firstborn to Jeremiah Anderson, a preacher, and Lily Anderson, a stay-at-home mother who worked and raised their children.  The first couple years of Gabriel's life were unremarkable, and just before his third birthday, his younger brother, Isaac was born.  It all seemed like they were going to live relatively normal lives.

Until Gabriel started going to school.  Gabriel was intelligent for his age, brilliant even.  But there was something about him.  He didn't seem to make friends very easily.  It confused his parents.  Gabriel was smart, intelligent, knew just when to say the right things...why wasn't he making friends?

It wasn't that Gabriel was having any problems, he just didn't seem to really care about other people...with the exception of his younger brother, Isaac.  Regardless, his lack of friends outside his family never seemed to bother his parents as soon as they realized just how intelligent Gabriel really was.  Gabriel even eclipsed his little brother Isaac, in his parents eyes.

And three years after Isaac was born, the third Anderson child, Angel, was born.  Life went on.  Gabriel continued to be brilliant, Isaac continued to live in his older brother's shadow, and Angel was just a happy little baby.

Gabriel was put under immense pressure by his father.  Put through rigorous academic courses, studying the Bible, learning to play piano...and, of course, if he didn't excel at any of these, the punishment that came was swift and severe.  Gabriel continued to work his way through school, with Isaac and Angel as his only friends.  It wasn't that the other kids didn't like him, or were scared of him (though perhaps they should have been), it just seemed as though Gabriel didn't care about anyone besides himself and his siblings.

Gabriel loved Isaac and Angel.  He really did.  While his father pushed and pushed to model Gabriel into his perfect son, Gabriel and his mother doted on Isaac and Angel, and Gabriel took a particular interest in Angel.  Isaac could take care of himself, but Angel...there was something about her, something that Gabriel wanted to protect.  Something he wanted to keep innocent and pure.

But of course, even Angel had to go to school.  And we all know that girls can be exceptionally cruel.  When Angel came home one day, crying, saying that some girls had been making fun of her...Gabriel's punishment came swift.  They didn't show up for class the next day, instead having been locked in janitor's closets across the school, terrified.  They wouldn't say anything about who had done it, but Isaac and Angel had a feeling they knew who was responsible...

Gabriel continued defending Angel from the shadows, making her and Isaac outcasts in their own rights.  Isaac, though he was never as connected to Gabriel, found it difficult to make friends as Gabriel became more and more twisted.  Why risk it when all it would take is one misspoken word, and Gabriel could slip past your parents with a flash of teeth and some convincing words, and drown your puppy in the river?

On the surface, it looked like a happy family.  Deep down, it was nothing of the sort.  Isaac and Angel had become outcasts, the only one who was willing to look after them was a brother who was quickly becoming more and more twisted with each passing day, flinching away at their touches.  Gabriel was just trying to protect them, not only from a world that was cruel, but from a father that was twisted.

But fate had other plans in store for the Anderson family...

One cool fall night, Gabriel, Isaac and Angel were taking a walk through the woods, when a massive group of Heartless came upon them.  Perhaps the darkness in Gabriel's heart had attracted them, or perhaps the same darkness that was starting to burn in Isaac's heart also attracted them.  Whatever it was, a large group of Shadows came upon Gabriel and Isaac, who sacrificed themselves to keep the Heartless away from their little sister.

Angel ran.  She ran as fast as she could.  And the whole town mourned the passing of Isaac and Gabriel, except for the schoolchildren, who slept a little easier, knowing that he wasn't prowling around anymore, watching every move they made with that demonic grin of his.

Gabriel and Isaac awoke in the ruins of the castle that stood above Radiant Garden, the castle that had once belonged to Ansem the Wise.  They had no idea how they had gotten there, and at the same time, both of them felt like something was missing.  They were no longer Gabriel and Isaac, now they were Gibraelx and Saxica.  They each remembered bits and pieces of their pasts, enough for Gibraelx to put together that Saxica was his younger brother, and they needed to figure out what was going on.

Unfortunately, Saxica, who seemed to have retained a greater amount of his memories than Gibraelx, was not willing to cooperate with the brother who had made him an outcast when they were Whole.  Even if he didn't have emotions, he knew better than to trust him.  Gibraelx attacked Saxica, scarring most of his face, and Saxica flexed his powers for the first time, leaving the three scars on Gibraelx's face as retribution for his own scars, and fled, leaving Gibraelx alone in the crumbling castle.

Gibraelx spent time wandering the castle, and did not seek to go down to the city below, where many of his memories were located.  Rather, he went to the castle's library, devouring volumes, trying to figure out what had happened to him.  Why he felt nothing other than a clawing emptiness deep inside of him.

Gibraelx spent six years in that castle, until, one day, he saw two curious figures in the castle.  One was a red-haired man, very muscular, in a dark coat.  The other was a young girl, no older than fourteen, with blonde hair and green eyes, also dressed in a dark coat.  They opened up a portal to...somewhere, and Gibraelx, out of curiousity...followed.
