Description

Starfleet Marines are stationed aboard Star Bases and planet-side facilities and are deployed strictly for combat operations. Starfleet Security personnel provide all Fleet facility and ship security.
Marine officers will often serve in Fleet roles, such as Tactical Officers, to help them better understand Fleet operations. While serving in those roles, they wear the standard Fleet duty uniform in OD green.
While serving in a strictly Marine role, all Marines wear the Tactical OD uniform, as seen with the SSG pictured.
