Description The giant space worm, Mundi Comedentis, is many hundreds of miles long and its body is around one or two miles in diameter. It lives out in the depths of space burrowing into planets and feasting on the cores and the planetary crust around the cores. It does this by digging down into planets with the giant spike on its head and its many scythe-like arms. It moves through space using compressed air, which it shoots out of four holes located above the farthest back two arms on each side. When it's running low on air it'll fly in circles around a planet with an atmosphere, gathering the gasses in the planets atmosphere. The way it stays afloat while inside a planets atmosphere is currently unknown. There has only been one of these creatures ever observed by humans, and it is unknown if there are more than just the one. Many people hope that there is not more than one as that would increase the chances of earth being targeted by one of them. The Mundi Comedentis has no eyes as eyes aren't very useful in the mostly-lightless void of space, in place of eyes it has heat sensors on the front of its head that can detect the smallest amount of heat millions of lightyears away, allowing it to find planets to eat quite easily.
