I made a plushie Gordon Freeman! Yay!It took several weeks, because getting material alone to behave like a HEV suit is very difficult. He stands (well, flops, his feet don't balance him) about 30cm tall, is fully cuddle-compliant, and is made entirely from material and a small amount of cloth stiffener stuff. 100% hand sewn, and tailor made for adorableness.
I was going to wait until I'd finished my Gordon Freeman fansite before I showed this to the world, but the fansite is taking too darn long.

Ehe... Yeah, his HEV suit is sewn onto him. I recon he's been wearing his HEV suit for so long in the games, it'd be pretty disgusting inside, so better he keeps it on unless a shower is nearby.

Although I've always been partial to the idea that there is a little slot to poar some soap in, and then a button to press, and then the HEV suit makes sounds like a dishwasher and cleans Gordon until he gleams (like all those dishwashing soaps promise to do)

I'm also buying one of those headcrab hats to celebrate my going into university (some people get a special pen, others get a car, you know the thing)... Sure, the shipping to Australia is downright prohibitive, but it'll be the hat that sees me get through the next five years of study.
