Finally, the one outfit for Harley Quinn that remains faithful to the source material and THAT DOESN'T LOOK STUPID. I know Suicide Squad's version of Harley Quinn is iconic now and the baby blue-hot pink hair has been adapted to the comics too, but GOSH THOSE HIGH-HEELED SHOES WERE RIDICULOUS. How was she able to fight wearing those things?Oh, and also her look was way too sexualized.
I won't talk about Birds of Prey since I didn't see the movie in theathers (I'm gonna watch it on Blu-ray), but well... not a fan of her outfit there either. BUT THIS IS PERFECT. Girl looks savage and adult.

Haven't seen that movie yet. But I don't know, I am tired of the whole "Harley the modern feminist icon" thing. She's a psycho, she killed innocent people by Joker's command, she even helped him to kill Robin (there's an easter egg about that in Suicide Squad at least), so yeah, a crazy unstable and violent person that kills children like her has to be "feminist" just because she emancipated from Joker? Iugh. And don't get me wrong, having Harley going on her own and emancipated from Joker is good stuff, because every character needs to have an arc and development. But it's just that, a character arc. She's too damn crazy and violent to be marketinized as a rol model. Wonder Woman is a good feminist icon, though. Because she's a hero. Black Canary is badass too. But other than that, I'm curious to see the new SS movie. The black and red color scheme on her gives me hope.

Honestly I hate Pedowood in general. I rarely go to the theatre anymore. Just nothing worth seeing and I cannot stand the higher than thou grandstanding.

My country is facing a high devaluation right now, and a pre-economic crisis. 1 argentinian peso = 60 USD. So theatre here is very expensive as well. Living in Argentina without converting your salary into dollars is expensive no matter what you do. I just went two times this year, and one of them was to see Sonic the movie xD.
I grew up watching Batman the Animated Series, so as a fan I still want to see a faithful portrayal of Harley on the big screen. Margot Robbie is a great casting choice and I don't think she is to blame about enything regarding Hollywood scandals. I like that she is wearing the red and black color scheme of her classic outfit, and wanted to draw it, that's all.
And regarding pedophile scandals, Japan and anime/manga industry is not better. Until 2014 it was legal in there to buy and have child pornography for personal use. And now the only punishment for that crime is 1 year in jail plus a fine of money. Nobuhiro Watsuki passed trough that process and he is free now. I guess the difference here is that we pay more for a theatre than we pay for a cellphone app to read manga?
[and I'm still a Rurouni Kenshin fan even if I despise Watsuki for being such a perverted dude]

Canada is doing fine, compared to other countries, but our biggest problem is unfortunately in our own backyard. Justin Trudeau is very much a traitor. As much a traitor as George Soros is to Hungary. We rely on oil and gas to survive, and thanks to Trudeau and the entitled elite running this country, everyone is pulling out. I expect very lean times to come. Or even a civil war.
I have zero issues with art, in fact art is the only thing keeping me even remotely interested in anything DC or Marvel. I despise them all really.
