This is a picture of James Potter getting Avada Kedavra'd by Voldemort, who you can't see here. James is not quite dead yet; rather, he's in the split second before his heart falters due to the spell. I'm actually very happy with this, reckon it's one of the best things I've done.

Awesome and dramatic. He knows that the situation is futile, but I love how even defenseless he has spread out his arms in protective mode to shield his family.
