Description
This is an updated version of the Season 5 combatants poster with new backgrounds for each vector, new renders, new resize of the characters and added special details and effects in each. Season 5 of DEATH BATTLE is one of my favorite seasons and episodes (especially Mario VS Sonic (2018), Samurai Jack VS Afro Samurai & Thanos VS Darkseid).Here's the list of combatants who appeared in DEATH BATTLE! Triva:
Batman is so far the only combatant who appeared in many episodes as well as cameos.
Black Panther is the second combatant to win against Batman. He's also the only Marvel combatant to win against a DC combatant in Season 5.
Batman is the fourth combatant to lose twice. He's also lost twice against two Marvel characters: Spider-Man and Black Panther.
Black Panther and Afro are the 5th and 6th African-American combatants to appear in Death Battle.
Twlight Sparkle and Doctor Strange are the first two combatants to be killed by a team of combatants (Like Raven's Soul-self and Doctor Fate's soul of Kent Nelson and Inza Cramer).
Star Platinum, Aku Aku and Amuro Ray are the 4th, 5th and 6th Death Battle assistant to be killed in Death Battle.
Crash and Sonic are the 14th and 15th Death Battle losers to be incinerated in Death Battle.
Spyro and Darkseid are the first two combatants to be voiced by Edward Bosco.
Pit and Thanos are the 9th and 10th combatants who didn't exactly die. Like Pit, who can be revived by Palutena and Thanos is technically revived after every death, but dies over and over again due to the Omega Sanction.
Jin is the fourth Death Battle combatant to lose against a returning combatant (which is Ryu).
Jack is the first Cartoon Network combatant to appear in Death Battle.
Jack is the second combatant to be voiced by Kaiij Tang.
Nightwing and Daredevil's Death Battle is the first episode to feature a live action battle.
Mario and Sonic's death battle is the first match to be re-examined instead of a remastered or rematch.
Mario is the first Death Battle loser who won against the same opponent who they previously fought (which is Sonic).
Mario is the third Nintendo combatant to win against a SEGA combatant.
Mario is the second combatant to be voiced by Kamran Nikhad. First being Sephiroth.
Sonic is the first Death Battle Winner who lost against the same opponent who they previously fought (which is Mario).
Sonic is the first combatant to be voiced by Nicholas Andrew Louie.
