Assuming he hasn't painted his fingers, they are shaded too much.. It's not that you can't use dark shading, but the rest of your picture is not shaded like that.
About the legs, I see people have said they look a bit strange. Here is my guess to why:
Sit down in a chair, cross your legs, sit straight up, facing forward and put both your elbows on the armrests.. Comfortable? Thought not, you'll soon switch to another way to sit that is less awkward.
It looks good though, and I didn't see anything wrong except the finger thing before reading comments and looking more carefully.
