Wonderful shot - definitely have to agree that it made me think of the Crow immediately - it could almost be a screen capture from the movie - And the title works perfectly with the mood of the photo as well

It's funny how things pan out. I have never seen the movie (strange, I know) and I just *had to* see it, just so I could know what everybody is talking about. Now I'm extremely flattered by that comparison ^^

Don't you hate that? Random faves but no comments on a pic you like?

Anyway. I do like the composition of this photo, and there is a good contrast between the subject and the backround. It kinda looks like a beach, but its hard to tell. Lets you use your imagination in any case. I especially love the way hair falls in the subjects face. It allows an aspect of secrecy and introversion in a picture meant to be sinister, as though the whole story hadn't been told. There are also lighter parts to this picture that I'm unsure whether or not they were intentional, regardless it gives the pic a smoky, ray-of-light feel. All this combined gives me a totally different impression of the pic than what you were probably aiming for, but I still like it, either way.

Thank you for the insight! It *was* supposed to be dark and maybe sinister, but I had little room to work with. I definately wanted the facial expression to show cuz... frankly, that's what it's all about It was done outside of my friend's house, in the middle of the night, with a lot of steam coming from the ground (there was some outlet there). I wouldn't mind not having the bright spots, but oh well, I'm glad with the outcome nonetheless.
