I saw that episode where she "tamed" him. Ok, she was his first friend. That was adorableeeee. So i drew them~ LMAO Some people like them platonic or romantic. I don't mind either or.

Β his tail?Β hmm. if i make "mistakes" while coloring and I like it enough, I leave it. The tail was actually dark blue with choppy gradient like effect. So blue was the base and then I just took my brush and individually went in and drew scales at different colors. For pinkish scales, select pink color, then select yellow for yellow scales etc. I didn't colorize them. This program doesn't allow me to just go and do that. As for picking colors, i just went with whatever seemed to calm me and flow with the rest of things. I did it on the same layer. The brighter sparkle/star like shapes on his tail i also drew in with lighter/brighter colors. a darker and lighter color will contrast, right? so that's the idea.
howeverrr, before i drew the scales in, i did take my brush and lightly go over the blue base in areas that I knew i was going to have a specific color of scales.
