i dont usually coment on all the art i mark as favorite. there is soo much art to see and so little time to coment , because sometimes the words i could write are meaningless compared to the beauty of the art work.

that having been said.
Β this is amazing . words cannot descrive how happy and sad and overwelmed i feel , looking at this poster.

thank you for sharing your talent.

Can I ask how you made the words in the swastika? And also how you do the texture of the background?

Btw, love this.

Of course! I used the pen tool to make the swastika and masked it over text going in all directions (then when finished I rasterized the text layers, selected the inverse of the swastika outline, and hit delete on the text layer). Then for the background I got some old script on paper texture and multiplied that layer and lowered the opacity then played around with other paper/grunge textures either using soft light or multiply - again lowering opacity to blend it together more.

Hope that makes sense/helps!
Thank you so much for taking time to look at my art! I'm glad you like it!

I love this book yet at the same time I hate this book. It creates so many feelings inside of me that I can't help but label it my favorite. When I saw this I just thought, wow. I fell in love with it again. I'm so sad I can't use it for my book report. If I could label this comment with as many emotions as I wanted to, I would put love, joy, anger, sadness, and just plain awe. Wow. I love it.

One of my favorite books. I'm currently doing a symbolism project on it and I'm browsing various sites for inspiration. There doesn't seem to be enough art based on such a great book. Wonderful poster

it's perfect! i love the book thief, cried for ages in the end, and it's awful when you find that the cover of a great book is probably drawn by someone who hasn't read it! your cover is great, it's just right somehow.... and the way she is walking, as if she wants you to follow her into the book!

I love this.

I finished this book about a month ago, and I think it's one of my favorites, even though it's so sad.

But it's so beautifully written.
