haha I just figured Lord Indigo was some sort of Scrooge McDuck billionaire with an enormous vault and a sea of coins to go swimming in... and after getting bored of diving into piles of money he decided to invent a tournament...

y'know, I was wondering about this the other day too, not just where PCBC gets its money, but where the funing for some of those rediculous pokemon stadiums come from in general. Have you ever played Pokemon XD for the cube? Its got this stadium thats like, 100 hovering platforms that wrap around an active volcano. Where the Hell do they get the money for maintenance for that thing?!

Remember that repairs don't cost as much in the pokeverse because instead of having to hire a crew of construction workers, they can just get some gullible trainer with a team of capable pokemon to do all the work for free.
