Ben 10 (first series) was such a unique series and at the same time nostalgic when it comes to concept. A lot seem to derive from '90's Saturday Morning action cartoons. Especially when it comes to merchandising. Alien Force (DNAliens and Vilgax arcs) were great stories in it-selves. It's when they introduced the Ultimatrix and started Ultimate Alien that the franchise started to go downhill with it's constant fillers. The only exemption was the trash monster episode, I loved how Kevin tried to reference Capt. Planet and X-Files with what was going on.

But in a whole, Ben 10 is still a good series to follow.
