...You can say that this is a Thai version of harpies...only they are less aggressive and...well...they act like nymphs. Hard to explain...

(One thing for sure is that they're good dancers...)

Thx for the info.   Now I remember that I saw himmapan sculptures on top of lamp posts when I was visiting Bangkok. My tour guide referred to them as 'angels'.  Thailand is a beautiful country.
