i love the moment in the rain that was captured and the way you lined up the angles. also, that cafe (its colors and its lights) is a beautiful contrast to the stone.

There's a very European feel to this picture, and I like it a lot. It makes me want to visit Paris just to wander the streets for hours.

I was overwhelmed by the response about this picture! I posted much better pictures, in my opinion. ANyway most people got the point and some criticize so I express my own opinion: it is nothing more than a snapshot! But I like it his way: capturing a particular moment, a particular mood you fee in the air. That is one of the many reasons you can have to make a photograph and this was the case. No provocation, no judgment: a neutral eye beholding the moment.

one thing that I can't peel my eyes away from is the girl. She's so thin, she seems like a streak almost. It's not too bad, though... kinda goes with the whole parisian stereotype thing, ...i think

Beautiful capture, i love the way the leading lines of the pavement and buildings and the focal points of bike, woman and cafe gently draw the eye around the photo. Really well done, its great.

i like this quite alot, i especially like the way the woman is reflected in the wet pavement and you can see every path the water has taken to roll down the pillars. makes me want to go outside into the gloom that is hanging over beautiful old Hertsfordshire.
